Shipping Policy
General Delivery & Shipping Information
We link directly to UPS to calculate actual shipping costs. It is based on box weight, service level (Ground, 2nd Day, etc) and your location. We ship from ZIP code 80210. Prima Car Care is not in the business of profiting from your shipping charges. We do our best to negotiate great rates with UPS and pass those discounted rates on to you, our valued customer.
Shipping charges for shipping destinations within the continental U.S. are calculated by weight as you shop. To view a shipping estimate at any time while you shop, simply go to your Shopping Cart. Each level of shipping service is listed with the corresponding shipping charge and is based on whatever items you have placed in your Shopping Cart at that time. As you add or remove items from your Shopping Cart, the shipping charges will go up or down accordingly. Be sure to enter your ZIP Code for an accurate estimate.
Most orders received by 3pm, Mountain Standard Time, are shipped the same day, except for backordered items. However, if an item is backordered, it will be usually be noted next to the item description on the website. All backordered items will be shipped as soon as we receive them from our manufacturers. Our goal is to personally handle all special ordering situations. We'll work with you one-on-one to meet your needs as best as we can.
We offer FREE SHIPPING for all orders totaling over $300 which are shipping to a destination with the continental U.S.
Shipping Options to Destinations Within the Continental U.S. (non-PO/APO/FPO)
We offer various shipping levels via UPS to shipping destinations within the continental U.S. with non-PO Box street addresses. These include: Ground, 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air Saver, and Next Day Air A.M. Following are the UPS delivery commitments for each level of service:
- Ground- Typically 1-5 business days
- 3 Day Select- By the end of the 3rd business day*
- 2nd Day Air- By the end of the 2nd business day*
- Next Day Air Saver- By the end of the next business day*
- Next Day Air A.M.- By 8am on the next business day for most major cities, By 9am on the next business day for most other cities, By 10am on the next business day for most other locations*
*Note that delivery commitments are based on shipping the same day you have placed your order, as long as the order is placed by 3pm Mountain Standard Time and all items are in-stock. Please contact us if you have any questions about delivery commitments.
Shipping Options to PO Boxes and APO/FPO Destinations
For shipments to PO Boxes and APO/FPO destinations, please choose UPS Ground as your shipping option; however, please note that the estimated charges shown on the order do not necessarily reflect your full shipping charge. We ship all PO Box and APO/FPO shipments via U.S. Postal Service. These shipments may incur additional charges and will not leave our warehouse until the next business day after the order is placed, pending your approval of any additional shipping charges when applicable. Important: We will contact you via email to confirm any additional shipping charges to your destination. We will only charge you additional shipping charges if the U.S. Postal Service charges us additional charges above and beyond what you are initially charged. If you would prefer expedited shipping service, please contact us by phone or email for the additional charges for this service.
Shipping Options to Destinations in Hawaii & Alaska
For shipments to Hawaii and Alaska, please choose UPS Ground as your shipping option; however, please note that the estimated charges shown on the order do not necessarily reflect your full shipping charge. We ship all Hawaii and Alaska shipments via U.S. Postal Service. These shipments may incur additional charges and will not leave our warehouse until the next business day after the order is placed, pending your approval of any additional shipping charges when applicable. Important: We will contact you via email to confirm any additional shipping charges to your destination. We will only charge you additional shipping charges if the U.S. Postal Service charges us additional charges above and beyond what you are initially charged. If you would prefer expedited shipping service, please contact us by phone or email for the additional charges for this service. PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, due to the high cost of shipments to Hawaii and Alaska, orders shipping to these states are not eligible for our free shipping offer on orders over $300. Our sincere apologies!
Shipping Options to International Destinations
We are able to ship to most destinations outside of the U.S. For shipments to destinations outside of the U.S., please choose UPS Next Day Air Saver as your shipping option; however, please note that the estimated charges shown on the order do not necessarily reflect your full shipping charge. These shipments may incur additional shipping charges. We ship all international shipments via U.S. Postal Service because is it significantly less expensive to do so; as we pass this savings on to our customers, this shipping option greatly benefits our international customers. Important: We will contact you via email to confirm any additional shipping charges to your destination. We will only charge you additional shipping charges if the U.S. Postal Service charges us additional charges above and beyond what you are initially charged, PLUS a very small handling fee for Customs documentation. These shipments will not leave our warehouse until the second business day after the order is placed, pending your approval of any additional shipping charges when applicable. If you would prefer expedited shipping service, please contact us by phone or email for the additional charges for this service. Please note that the recipient is responsible for any and all duties and/or taxes levied by the recipient's country.
